其次,在批改
英语作文时,老师应重视学生所表达的思想而不应该只注意到学生在写作文时所犯的个别的拼写或语法错误。只要学生在行文过程中有好的思想、好的语句,都应给予赏识表扬。这样,学生才会越来越喜欢同老师交流,兴致越高,他们就越爱学习,才能水到渠成提高水平和能力。
(二)注意应用能力的培养
阅读教学一直是英语教学的重点所在,对高职高专学生来说,更要加强通用的简短实用文字材料的阅读教学,如经常性指导学生阅读一些信函、技术
说明书、合同等,不仅增强学生的口语,还可以适当提高他们的理解能力。进行
应用文阅读训练时,应要求学生掌握一些经常会接触到的词汇,以扩大词汇量以便提高交际能力。再如对于翻译能力的培养,尽管高职高专没有开设专门的翻译课,但教师在课堂上还是要适当讲解一些翻译知识和理论,比如
