1、把握主旨大意，概括谈话内容。要求学生对听到的内容有一个整体的把握和全面的领会。有时主旨大意较明显，有时则需要归纳、概括。常见的考点话题的问题有：

What are they doing?

What picture are they talking about?

What is Sandy going to do?

What do you know from the passage?

Which sentence is right?

2、明确具体事实，贯通信息联系。要求学生听清、听懂相关信息，深入理解具体细节、信息，如时间、地点、人物、价钱、数量、原因、目的、结果等，有时还要对听到的信息做加工处理，如数字运算、时间顺序、比较筛选、同义转换、因果关系等。常见的话题的细节问题有：

Where has Jack been?

What time will they meet?

What will the weather be like the day after tomorrow?

Who will be in the sports meeting ?

What is wrong with the man?
