摘 要：《文化哲学》是施韦泽生前发表的一部最重要的哲学—伦理学著作，是中国读者了解施韦泽提出和论证敬畏生命伦理学的方法和过程，并且探讨其思想与当代生态文明关系的最好资料。《文化哲学》的文化批判是其文化哲学的起点，敬畏生命伦理学则是其文化哲学的结论。而施韦泽所体现的向东方思想的转向和跨越，使其原本还没有直接针对环境和生态问题的敬畏生命伦理学成为当代“生态伦理学革命”的先声，并由此成为当代生态文明的思想渊源之一。

It is the best material for Chinese readers to understand the methods and processes of Schweitzer's ethical ﹖hinking of reverence for life, and to explore its relationship with modern ecological civilization. In 玃hilosophy of Culture, the starting point of cultural philosophy is cultural criticism, while its conclusion is ethics which emphasizes reverence for life. The turning and stepping to the traditional philosophy of the east in his thinking makes his ethics theory, although without direct response to environmental and ecological problems, a pioneer of modern “eco瞖thics revolution”, and thus become one of the ideological origins of modern ecological ヽivilization.
