Abstract
Hans Christian Anderson was a famous writer in the 19th century in Denmark. He is best remembered for his children’s tales. His fairy tales were translated into many languages. The best one was translated by a Chinese translator named Ye Junjian. Ye found the poetical beauty and comic humor in Anderson’s stories. In this paper the writer uses the theory of translation equivalence to explain how Ye did to achieve the most aesthetic effects and the equivalence of poetical beauty and comic humor in the original work. According to what has been discussed, in the last part of the paper, the writer comes to a conclusion of how to test the translation and why Ye’s version was regarded as a good translation.

摘 要
汉斯,安徒生是丹麦著名作家。他尤以其所著童话而闻名。他的童话被译成多种语言,其中最受好评的是中国翻译家叶君健的译本。叶运用其独特的眼光,发现了安徒生童话中所蕴涵的诗意的美和喜剧性的幽默。本文重在讨论叶君健是怎样运用 “等值” 理论来表达出原文的美学效果和体现出其诗意的美和喜剧性幽默的。在本文的最后1部分,作者总结了怎样衡量1篇翻译的质量的好坏以及叶君健之译本广为流传的原因。
