On the basis of discussing major theoretical trends in contemporary philosophy and social science ， the author argues that a deep transformation is going on in contemporary ethodology ， thatis ， judicial syllogism is gradually replaced by legal methodology characterized by such dimensions as legal interpretation and legal argumentation.
