中文摘要：湖南农村剩余劳动力问题是湖南经济改革和社会发展中不可回避的现实问题，合理地解决农村剩余劳动力问题对湖南城乡协调发展有重大的理论和现实意义。该文通过对湖南农村剩余劳动力的基本情况、特点及本质的分析，运用1些经济学的基本理论和方法，对该问题进行了初步探讨，并在此基础上进行提出了解决湖南农村剩余劳动力问题的政策选择，在对湖南农村剩余劳动力的特征、本质、转移的特点和政策选择方面有自己独到的见解。

The Research of Hunan Surplus Labor Problem
 
Abstract : The spare labor force in countryside in an inevitable problem during the course of Hunan economic system reform and social development. It has theoretical and praxis meanings for the coordinate development of Hunan urban and rural areas to solve the problem of the spare labor force in countryside. This article analysis the problem of the basic circumstance，characteristics of the village surplus labor force of Hunan and essence，with the help of the basic theory and viewpoints，as well as the theories and methods of economics and sociology. And it brings forward policies of solving the problem of the spare labor force in countryside， more over，it has particular viewpoints in analyzing the characters，essence and specialties of the spare labor force in country and the policy choices of its transference.
