effects on the flood elevation of dongting lake dredgeing up

abstract: dongting lake is an important regulating lake in the middle reach of yangtz river. it receives volume and sediment of flood from xiang river,zi river,yuan river,li river and yangtz river, this lead to get level higher because of deposit, disaster of flood become serious and entironment worsened, capability of water self-cleanseing and water environment bearing become lower. this paper analyzes the effects on the flood elevation of dongting lake dredgeing up according to the program of dongting lake dredgeing up and the complete data of typical reach dredged.
