Abstract
The translation of rhetorical devices in English advertisements has not been discussed too much and it is also a great task for the translators. I n this paper, some research has been done in this particular field to discuss some ways of translation of parallelism, repetition, pun, metaphor, alliteration in English advertisements. The translation of rhetorical devices is not easy. Only when translators have mastered both good knowledge of Chinese and English, can they understand and translate rhetorical devices in advertisements well. In fact, it remains a lot of work for translators to do.

摘 要
英语广告中修辞格的翻译国内外研究尚不足,对于译者来说仍是1个艰巨的任务。在此文中,作者对这个特殊的领域作了1定的研究,用以分析英语广告中的排比,反复,双关,暗喻以及头韵这5种修辞格的1些常用的翻译方法。英语广告修辞格的翻译并不容易。只有当译者掌握了相当好的中英文知识,才能够理解和翻译好广告修辞。事实上,目前译者在这方面仍有许多工作要做。
