从译者主体性看影视片名的翻译

Translation of English Film Titles from the Perspective of Translator’s Subjectivity

Abstract

With the emergence of the English films in our country, the translation of English film titles has attracted more attention. Translator’s subjectivity is very important during the process of translation of English film titles. Translator’s subjectivity can not be exaggerated so that the translated version deviates from the original works. Translator’s subjectivity is often restricted by translating, social characteristics and cultural background. This thesis tries to introduce translator’s subjectivity applied in the translation of English film titles with concrete examples from the following aspects: the importance of the translation of English film titles, the methods of the translation of English film titles, translator’s purposiveness applied in the translation of English film titles, translator’s autonomy applied in the translation of English film titles, translator’s activity applied in the translation of English film titles and translator’s creativity applied in the translation of English film titles.

摘　要

随着影视剧流入我国，影视片名的翻译受到了更多人的关注．译者在影视片名的翻译中扮演了1个重要的角色，因此，影视片名的翻译是否完美，译者的主体性成为了1个关键。影视片名的翻译不能无视译者的主体性，而又不能无限夸大译者的主体性而背离原文。译者的主体性常常受到翻译动机，社会特点和文化背景的制约，他应该采取变通的方法翻译出准确，生动的影视片名。因此本文试着从影视片名的重要性，影视片名翻译的标准和方法，译者的目的性在影视片名翻译中的应用，译者的自主性在影视片名翻译中的应用，译者的能动性在影视片名翻译中的应用和译者的创造性在影视片名翻译的应用等方面说明译者主体性在影视片名翻译中的应用。
