Intheprocessofreading,theinformationisinputcontinuouslyandexchangedwiththeknowndefinitionofthereaderstillthereaderfinishesthereading.
1.4SchemaTheoryandReadingComprehension

Themainstandpointofreadingschematheoryiswhenthepeoplewanttoknownewthingstheymustputnewthings,theknowndefinitionandtheexperiencetogether.Thecomprehensionandexplanationofthenewthingsrelyontheschematathathavebeenexistedinthepeople’smind.Forexample,whenweseeacube,wecan’tseeitssixsidesatthesametime,butweallknowthecubehassixsides;itistheschemathatdevelopsitseffect.Infact,theschematheoryisatheorymodelthatthesystemresearchestheeffectofthelong-termmemoryinreadingcomprehension.

Asweknow,thebackgroundknowledgeofthearticleisveryimportanttothecomprehension.Therefore,toarrangethereadingmaterials,wemusttopayattentiontothechoiceofthematerialsthathavedifferentstyles,pagesandstructures.Butwemusttaketheschematheoryastheguideintheprocessofarrangingreadingmaterials.Accordingtotheschematheory,thebackgroundknowledgeismadeupofmanyschemaunits.Butthecontentandstyleofonearticleshouldbeallocatedinaschemaunit.Thatistosaymoretopicsarenotrequiredtobediscussedinanarticleoritwillmakethestudentspaytheirattentiontothelanguageknowledgeandtheskillofsolvingaproblem.Itisn’tgoodforthestudentstomakecomprehensionandenlargetheirbackgroundknowledge.
