浅谈英语中的明喻

摘  要

明喻是英语中的1种常见的修辞方式。明喻的表现形式及句子结构多样。从功能上看，可分为描述型、启发型和说明型3类。贴切得体、创意新颖的明喻可以使事物形象生动，使人物特征特出，使深奥的事理浅显易懂。

Abstract

The simile is a kind of common rhetoric way in English. The forms of expression and sentence structures of the simile are various. Seen from its function, it can be divided into descriptive, illuminative and illustrative. The proper simile with novel intention can make the things vivid, and make personage to be characteristic outstanding, and also make abstruse reason shallow easy to know.
