The Implications from the Comparison between American and Chinese Corporate Culture
Abstract
As the latest development of business management science, corporate culture is both a management theory and a management art whose significant influence on business performance has been widely acknowledged. Based on the significance of corporate culture, this thesis tries to find out the differences between American and Chinese corporate culture through the comparison between them. The comparison of corporate culture of the two countries mainly focuses on their distinctive values, beliefs, and management practices. Firstly, this thesis compares the characteristics of the social culture of the country. Then, this thesis analyzes the characteristics of American corporate culture and Chinese corporate culture respectively. Finally, this thesis compares these two kinds of corporate culture and gets implications from the comparison, aiming to help people to have better understanding of the present situation of Chinese corporate culture and discover the key factors contributing to business success.

摘 要
作为最新的管理科学中重要的内容,企业文化既是1种管理理论,同时又是1门管理艺术。它在企业经营中扮演的重要角色已得到了广泛的认可。正是基于企业文化的重要性,本文试图通过比较美国企业文化和中国企业文化揭示两者存在的差异,对这两种企业文化的比较主要是集中在价值观、信念、管理策略3个方面的差异上。本文首先比较1下中美两国社会文化的特征。紧接着,本文分别对中美两国的企业文化进行分析。最后,本文对这两种企业文化的特征进行比较,并从中得到1些启示,目的在于帮助人们更好地理解目前中国企业文化的现状,同时也找出影响企业成功的因素。
