The Investigation of Middle School Students’ Autonomy
Abstract
In recent years, learner autonomy has become a focus in foreign language teaching and research. Meanwhile, articles of related subjects are emerging in large numbers. However, there is still a great deficiency in the research of senior school students’ English autonomic learning. This thesis, therefore, is attempting to conduct an investigation on the subject of senior school students’ English autonomic learning by adopting the theory of metacognitive strategy. With the aim of studying the influence of metacognitive strategy on students’ English autonomic learning and the expectation of improving their abilities in this field, the first grade in a senior high as subjects, and views the changes happened to students’ abilities in autonomic learning before and after the metacognitive strategy training.

摘 要
近年来,自主学习已成为外语教学研究的焦点,相关学术文章大量涌现。但关于中学生英语自主学习方面的研究还较为欠缺。为此,本文试图以元认知策略为依据,针对中学生英语自主学习问题展开调查研究。调查以高中1年级中的1个平行班为研究对象,通过分析元认知策略培训前后,学生英语自主学习能力的变化,来研究元认知策略对中学生英语自主学习能力的影响,以期有助于提高中学生英语的自主学习能力。
