《喧哗与骚动》与《活着》的比较研究

A Comparative Study of The Sound and the Fury and To Live

Abstract

    The Sound and The Fury and To Live are respectively William Faulkner and Yu Hua’s representative works and both are the important novels in the 20th century. By a very careful reading of The Sound and The Fury and To Live, it is not difficult to find that there are some similarities and dissimilarities between them. This thesis will explore the causes which led to the similarities of the theme and the dissimilarities of the language feature, by analyzing the two writers’ cultural background and writing experience. In the process of comparative study, we will have a more enjoyable appreciation of The Sound and the Fury and To Live and have a better understanding of the two writers.

摘要

《喧哗与骚动》与《活着》分别是威廉•福克纳和余华的典型代表作，也是210世纪两部重要的作品。通过仔细研读《喧哗与骚动》与《活着》，人们不难发现两部作品有许多相同点和不同点。本篇通过分析福克纳和余华的文化背景和写作经历，探悉造成两部作品主题相同的原因和语言特点不同的原因。在比较研究的过程中，我们能更好的欣赏《喧哗与骚动》和《活着》，也能更进1步了解威廉•福克纳和余华。
