The Cultivation of Language Sense in theTeaching of English Reading
Abstract
Training of language sense is to help the students form a refined image of language objects in their psycho-world. It means that the students will response or assimilate automatically the information from outside world. In order to foster students’ language sense, a great amount of language practice should be carried out. This thesis, beginning with an introduction of the essence and features of language sense, in the direction of English reading teaching theory, is to analyze the relationship between language sense and reading, and to analyze the function of language sense in the process of teaching English reading teaching. This paper stresses the integration of reading aloud and recitation; it also pays attention to the ways of reading, and the extension of foreign language teaching can offer more opportunities for students to get in a close touch with the language, so as to enrich their experience and increase their sense of language; putting forward some suggestions to develop students’ language sense.

摘 要
语感是言语主体对言语对象的1种直觉同化,它的心理机制在于图式对言语对象的加工作用,语感的培养,就是要使学生的心理世界形成这种对言语对象进行加工改造的图式结构,1旦接收外来信息源,立刻自动顺应,同化。要培养学生的语感,应进行大量的语言实践。本从语感的本质特征出发,结合阅读教学理论与实践,分析语感和阅读教学的关系以及语感在阅读教学的过程中所起的作用,进而提出了阅读是培养学生语感最有效,最重要的手段;同时提出了在阅读教学中培养学生语感的方法和建议,即朗读与背诵相结合,注重阅读方法;并强调教学要向外延伸,为学生创造更多的接触社会与自然的机会,丰富他们的生活体验与生活阅历。
