Teacher’s Role in Listening Strategies Training
Abstract
Listening as a major course requires teachers to train the students with proper listening strategies in an autonomous, ease and interesting environment and direct them to engage in self-diagnoses, self-assessment and self-instruction for their study. In other words, the teacher should encourage students to ‘learn how to learn’ and ‘learn how to use’ English.
Through studying and analyzing the listening strategies applying situation of the Grade Two students, the teacher finds out the existing problems of her students when they are using the listening strategies. Then, according to the result of the analysis and the listening training models, the teacher teaches the students listening strategies. In the process of listening strategy training, the author will study teacher’s role in listening strategy training.
The whole training process evokes that the roles of the teacher are very important in the process of listening strategies training. That is, the teachers should play the role as diagnostician, learners’ trainer and coach, language learner and researcher.

摘 要
听力是大学英语教学的1个重要组成部分。教师应在自主、轻松、充满兴趣的气氛中进行听力策略训练,组织和指导学生对自己进行自我诊断、评价,并进行自我指导。换句话说,教师应鼓励学生“学会如何学习”和“学会怎样使用”英语。通过对本院英语专业即将参加全国英语专业4级的2年级学生听力策略使用情况进行调查,掌握学生听力策略使用中存在的问题.然后针对存在的问题,结合国内外听力策略培训理论及策略训练方案,对学生进行听力策略指导,具体的策略训练指导,在策略训练实施的过程中,探究教师在听力策略训练中的作用. 大学排名
整个训练过程突出了教师在听力策略训练中的重要性,即教师在听力策略训练中应起着诊断者、训练者、教练、语言学习者和研究者的作用。
