A Text-based Internet Learning Model of Grammar
Abstract
The Grammar had been studied for centuries. During the long-time studies, traditional way of learning grammar had enjoyed a superior status. Traditionally, scholars paid much attention to the sentences and rules of grammar, and they usually analyze the grammar by translating sentence by sentence. Starting from a complete different point, the present thesis aims to explore how text and internet resources affect grammar learning and how we should analyze grammar by the aid of internet. According to Halliday, the concept “text” has no connotations of size; it may refer to speech act, speech event, topic unit, episode, narrative and so on. Through comparative study, this thesis has demonstrated that text-based grammar learning is more acceptable and reasonable. In addition to the increasingly popular use of internet as well as the huge resources in it, the thesis investigated the internet-based learning of grammar and created an initiative construction of grammar learning model.

摘 要
英语语法是英语学习中的关键环节之1。1直以来,传统的英语语法学习模式主导着英语语法研究领域。传统英语语法学习模式注重每个句子的具体意义,并对语法规则做了大量的研究。传统语法学家认为语法规则都是语法学习的钥匙。但是,近年来,部分学者开始发现语法学习中1个很重要的概念—语篇。理论上,语篇这个词是指包含两个句子以上的书面组成部分。根据韩礼德的观点,“语篇”概念没有固定的大小限制,它可能指1个言语行为或言语事件,1个话题单位,1段情节甚至1篇故事等。本文将从语篇的角度出发,通过传统语法学习模式与基于语篇的学习模式的对比分析,用实例证明语篇在语法分析中的重要性、合理性和优越性。此外,在当今的信息时代,因特网作为巨大的资源库,已成为语法教学及其它教学研究的重要工具。本文将网络应用到语法学习当中,尝试创建了1种网络语法学习模式。
