Modern Anglo-American Relationship and Its Culture Foundation

Abstract

Anglo-American relationship is a most important bilateral relation in the world. This subject is very important to the scholars and world affairs, especially for Europe. The main contents of this thesis are the study of Anglo-American relations (from the establishment of America to nowadays) including the economical and cultural relationship between the two countries. The author points out that the main reason of their relations is based on their mutual strategic benefits and economic interest, especially in Europe. At the same time, the author tries to explore the culture foundation and culture evolvement of their relationship.

摘 要

在各国的双边关系中，英美关系在世界事务中显得尤为重要。从美国建国初，他们关系的好坏就深深的影响着全球关系的发展，特别是在1战和2战后的英美关系，更是至关重要,他们的关系直接影响了国际新秩序的建立。本文主要通过对建国后英美关系的发展过程以及其经济关系和文化关系的研究。指出，在英美关系发展过程当中，其主要原因是基于双方共同的战略利益、特别是的欧洲的战略利益。同时也说明，英美关系发展的最终动力应该源于他们各自在国际上的地位，实力，以及利益冲突。除此之外，本文也试图对其关系发展的文化基础和文化演变做了1些简单的论述和研究，以期能够对英美关系的研究有所帮助。
