《远大前程》中叙事技巧的分析

An Analysis of Narrative Techniques in Great Expectations

Abstract

Charles Dickens (1812-1870) is a great English novelist who claming an universal fame. He wrote so many novels during his lifetime. The Great Expectations, as one of his most popular novels, is famous for his narrative techniques. It is his narrative techniques that lead his great achievements. In Great Expectations, Dickens used the limited perspective to introduce Pip’s position, and used three pairs of contradictions to expound Pip and other people’s characteristics. Dickens made “crime and punishment” and “nobility and award” as it’s deeper structure, which is the interpretation of dialectical relationship between good and evil. As Pip is the narrator, he uses his own perspective to show the life of himself and the people around him. In the light of narratology, Great Expectations is a successful work.

摘 要

查理斯.狄更斯是1位享有盛誉的英国小说家。在他有生之年创作了许多作品。作为狄更斯最畅销的作品之1，《远大前程》以其叙事技巧而著名。正是狄更斯的叙事技巧创造了他伟大的成就。在《远大前程》中，狄更斯用了限制性的透视法来说明匹普的地位，并用了3对矛盾具体地阐述了匹普以及其他人物的个性。狄更斯以犯罪就要受惩罚，诚实正直就会得到奖励作为其深层的叙事结构，诠释了善与恶的辨证关系。匹普是作为叙述者，他从自己的角度，向人们展示了他和和周围人的生活。从叙事学角度看，《远大前程》是1部非常成功的作品。
