劳伦斯与郁达夫的性描写比较研究

A Comparative Study of D. H. Lawrence and Yu Dafu’s Sex Description

Abstract

Sex is one of the primary instincts of human beings. Lawrence and Yu Dafu were great explorers of sex description. Their sex descriptions didn’t stop at the low level of sheer sensation and satisfaction, but more explored society, life and promulgated a survival way. Lawrence showed a pastoral happy life to his readers and intended to save modern industrial civilization from degeneration through the description of natural and harmonious sex relation between man and woman. Yu Dafu tended to completely reveal social evil, demonstrate social malady, and show sympathy to bourgeois intellectuals in his works. The great courage which they showed in fighting with traditional ethics and pursuing the unity of body and soul under the special social background inspired us all. I will try my best to search for their humanity attitudes and values through their sex descriptions.

摘  要

性爱是人性中本质的东西，劳伦斯和郁达夫应该说是性爱伦理小说的探险家。他们的性爱描写决不是停留在低层次的满足与快感，而是阐释社会和人生，揭示人性的手段和方式。劳伦斯通过和谐的性爱描写表现了回归田园生活，回归原始状态生命的快乐。郁达夫也是通过性爱描写来反映现实生活，揭露社会的罪恶，展示时代的弊端，同时也表达了他对广大资产阶级知识分子的同情。他们在特定的历史环境下，能够具有这样巨大的勇气，大胆的同传统伦理作斗争，毫不隐讳的宣扬性爱美妙结合，追求身体和灵魂的统1，实在令人钦佩。本人将依靠前人的研究方法和研究成果，试图从劳伦斯和郁达夫的性爱描写中去探求他们对人性的态度和他们的人性观。
